These charming invitations are adorable for a child’s birthday party. Kids will love receiving them and they couldn’t be easier to make.
You will Need:
Colorful paper
White string
White pen
Balloon cookie cutter
White envelopes
Colorful paper to line the envelopes
Scissors or X-acto knife
Double-stick tape
Glue stick
Directions:
1. Trace the cookie cutter on to paper.
2. Cut out balloon shapes with scissors or X-acto knife.
3. Make sure you have a front and back for each invitation, trim to match if necessary.
4. Attach front and back with double stick tape, and tape string to one side.
5. Write invitation in white pen.
6. Cut out colorful paper in the shape of your envelope to make a liner, but about 1/2 an inch smaller all around. Tracing and then adjusting it works best, or you can use this handy tool.
7. Attach envelope liner with double-stick tape or a glue stick.
Send out to friends and incorporate the balloon theme at the party by decorating with balloons or watching The Red Balloon!
