Children love creating handmade gifts, and get especially excited when the gift is for mom. When deciding what to do for my own mom this Mother’s Day, I designed up these cards and had my daughter help in the painting. Nana will love Audrey’s special touch on the outside of the card and my words of gratitude on the inside.
To create some cards of your own, print out the template on thick card stock and grab your watercolor paints, colored pencils or crayons. Once the artwork dries, simple fold your cards in half. A bone folder helps make the crease nice and crisp.
If you’d like to receive this card for yourself this Mother’s Day, why not email the link to this post to your spouse as a little hint. And while you’re at it, earn bonus points by emailing this post to all of your friends’ spouses. Think how surprised they would be come Mother’s Day morning!
