Now that I have a little girl in my life to dress, I’m sure I’m going to get totally sucked in to the world of adorable ruffles, bows, ribbons, and polka dots. But before I allow myself (and my wallet!) to be totally taken over, here’s a look back on dressing my little dude. Even though shopping for boys involves a LOT less choice than shopping for girls, it can still be fun! We usually have one nice special occasion outfit per size, and we splurge on outerwear, hats, and shoes since those get used often. Here are a few of my favorite Wagon Jr. outfits. Everything you see below from a store came from the clearance rack!

I LOVE those saddle shoes! Wagon Jr is quite a snappy dresser! As I was scrolling on my phone though I gasped, at first glance I thought he caught a real duck somehow and was trying to go for a ride!

I LOVE, LOVE LOVE your/Wagon Jr.’s style, but I don’t think my husband will let me dress our boy so stylishly/hipster preppy. We’ll see.

I love Baby Gap, their clothes wear so well. I can’t wait til my son gets a bit older and can wear real jeans and cute shoes. I also want to get him a pair of suspenders. Dressing boys is more fun that I thought it would be.

Alright, but what I really want to know is what have you saved of his clothes and what are you planning to do with them? I can not part with my son’s stuff, even the faded, cheapie crap!

Hehe thanks everyone!! As for the question about hand me downs… we hand them down to my cousin’s baby who is exactly 2 years younger than Wagon Jr., as well as close friends whose son is about 1.5 years younger than Wagon Jr. who we get together with often. There’s also a baby who was just born who got all of his newborn sized things. It’s sad to pack up and get rid of all his cute clothes, but at least we know we’ll see it on the little boys that we love!
I haven’t been able to give up his first shoes (pedipeds) yet though. I love those. Haha.
