@MrsSCB: I’m sure it could be! I’ve seen plenty of recipes for a chicken tortilla soup done on the stove. The trick is that you need to let it simmer for a while to get the flavors to develop and meld. So I’d start with bringing it to a boil and then simmering it for half an hour to 45 minutes. (You may need longer, that’s just what I would start with) Good luck!

This looks so good! Any idea if it could be done on the stove top, without the slow cooker? I’m sure it probably could, just don’t know how long to cook it :-)
