OK… first things first… you look amazing for someone carrying twins in their second trimester/third trimester.

I know it hasn’t all been perfect, but it sounds like the babies are doing awesome … as are you! You’re so close, I can’t believe it!

@Mrs. Pen: Yes, mostly because of one of the catches of twin delivery, I’m planning on getting an epidural but waiting as long as I can and trying to keep the dose low. They told me I could try to do it naturally, but if I end up needing an emergency c-section they would have to use general anesthesia and put me out completely. Since there is an increased risk of an emergency c-section, I promptly decided I’d rather have an epidural in place then risk being totally out for the babies’ birth! It wasn’t too hard to decide since my previous stance had been that I would like to try and go natural, but had no qualms about deciding to get an epidural if I wasn’t coping well. Add in the doctors doing hand motions to show reaching in and turning the baby, and I was oh so all about an epidural! :)

@Mrs. Pen: Baby A is always labeled that because he or she is closest to the cervix. As I understand it, they’re concerned about A’s position and not B’s because A would come out first, so if he is delivered successfully, they know that Baby B should fit and therefore, it’s less risky to deliver breech. They also have said they can reach in and try to manually turn him which does NOT sound pleasant, so I’m just hoping for both to turn head down and stay that way!

yay for third tri!! congrats!!! I cannot believe how close you are getting… it’s been such a joy to see you go through TTC and now pregnancy- it’s amazing!!

I LOVE the dress in your first pic- gorgeous lady!! you look so awesome for carrying twins!

Here’s hoping that babies position themselves well!

So why is that Baby A has to be head down, and not Baby B? Is that because Baby A is further down and would come out first? Also that’s so cool they will let you attempt vaginal even if one is breech!

I missed sushi and wine too!! You’re doing great only gaining 26 lbs! I think my total weight gain with the twins was 76 lbs, one month I gained 20 alone, and I delievered early at 34w6d :) Glad to hear you have such “big” boys. We heard that too and it is very comforting to know they’re healthy.

It’s so great to hear how well they’re growing, you’re doing a great job! And 28 weeks? Um, I was up 28lbs by then and I didn’t even have a cake habit!

The worst for me in the third tri was sleeping. Oooh it hurt so much! I had a huge back & belly pregnancy pillow and 11 additional bed pillows. Ouch, ouch, ouch!
