My son is almost exactly a year older than your little one. The timing this past summer was fantastic. Everything was so much fun! We have that water table and it gets good use year round. And that sidewalk chalk! Amazing! Our guy still tries to eat chalk and crayons from time to time. He'll be two at the end of April, so I'm hoping he grows out of it soon. Just clicked the zoo link and realized you are a Minnesota Mama too! Think Spring! Fun stuff! My son is almost exactly a year older than your little one. The timing this past summer was fantastic. Even as a 6m old it was fun to take M, I'm really excited to see how he reacts to the animals now that he's a little older. I want one of those trikes for M too. I love that we can help push him around while he learns how to pedal and ride on his own. He's also a wanderer, so this helps us keep him on track. :) Also, edible chalk?!? How cool! I do kind of want a pop-up, open-sided beach tent/canopy, but I'm fairly sure my toddler would not actually stay under it for long enough to make it worth it to haul it around....
