Another month has come and gone. We are having a blast with our little guy!

No well visit until he’s a year old, so no update on those stats.

Diaper size: size three disposable diapers, six unsnapped in the middle and one row unsnapped on the bottom in cloth

Clothing size: 6-12 or 9-12 months, starting to buy 12-18 month stuff which also fits him. His 6-9 month footed PJs are just about too short.

Nicknames: snuggle bug, standing man, little man, sweetie pie, handsome guy, my love, big boy, baby doll, muffin man

Loves: waving, “dancing” to music, the morning, being outside, drinking from a sippy cup, eating food (he is starting to refuse more foods and shows a preference for banana, avocado, cheese, and bread, but he will eat lots of other foods, too), crawling, standing, cruising, saying mama when he is tired/hungry/upset, saying dada, saying DAT (dog), blowing raspberries, taking a bath in his big boy tub or with daddy, reading stories – if I pull out a pile of books, he will crawl over to my lap and loves being read to (favorite books: Brown Bear, Opposites, How Big, Where is Baby’s Belly Button, Touch and Feel Farm), playing under the dining table and using the chairs as walkers, looking out the big front window

Hates: diaper changes, getting dressed, getting cleaned up after eating, falling down, being told “no” – we’ve gotten a tiny glimpse into what toddler temper tantrums might be like, which is a bit frightening

1/14 – Looking at Mommy through the window as she came home from work (heart melting)

1/15 -Brushing his new teeth! He got the bottom two this week, one right after the other.

1/16 – Waving bye-bye to Grammy and Tio Mateo

1/21 – Riding the train at the mall with Tio

1/22 – Playing under the table

1/28 – Saying hi to the dogs – he gets SO excited when he sees them or any other dogs!
