I have been looking for a diaper bag that was stylish yet functional and didn’t cost a fortune…. I was looking at skip hop bc of the price and functionality but then realized so many stores carry them in my area! (near Toronto). Anyways, I found the Danzo hobo and now I just read your review. Thank you so much, I can now purchase my first diaper bag without any doubts:) So exciting!!!

@mrs. wagon: So I have my Boxy Backpack and just bought a Wistful Weekender and Powder Room Case from the outlet sale. I think I’m on my way to being a diaperbagaholic as well!

@Alexis: If you like the look of Petunia Pickle Bottom, they have an “Abundance Boxy” that they created specifically for moms of two or more, I think specifically with twins in mind! They are actually having an outlet sale today and there are Abundance Boxys in stock!

@mrs. wagon: thanks for the advice! DH just picked up a Boxy Backpack in Classically Crete for me. I researched the City Carryall as well but he thought I’d like the Boxy Backpack better when he compared them in person. I can’t wait to see it myself!

@swedishfish: I agree, the Touring Tote is really small. I used it a few times when Wagon Jr. got older, for short trips, but never for a full day out. I couldn’t fit a sippy cup in there so I rarely used it.

The Boxy Backpack is really great for newborns because of the changing station. I loved being able to just set the bag down at the end of a changing table and folding out the changing pad. I hate fishing around for the diaper, wipes case, and changing pad then setting my bag down on THE GROUND to change the baby.

If I had another newborn right now I’d probably still use the Boxy. The pockets are nice and big too, while the Danzo really only has two large pockets, which get taken up by the diapers, wipes, and changing pad.

I would say try to find a Boxy to look at in person. They have them at Nordstrom. As a working mom I’d never carry the Boxy anymore– I hate switching bags for the weekend so I actually just carry the Danzo to work!! I absolutely love it.

@mrs. wagon: I just bought a Danzo Hobo and PPB Touring Tote. The Touring Tote is too small so it’s going back. I keep thinking about a PPB Boxy Backpack. Would you recommend the Danzo or PPB Boxy Backpack for a FTM with a newborn? I mainly use big bags for myself so the Danzo’s size doesn’t scare me.

@Clementine: thank YOU… I’ll take a good diaper bag conversation any day!! haha. I’m such an addict. p.s. my kate spade was an outlet purchase almost 4 years ago… I think their diaper bags have come a long way since then!

@Clementine: I have heard nothing but good reviews about the stevie as well!! But it was not the stevie… I don’t know if it had a name but it was a large boxy tote style bag.
