We're far from family and trustworthy childcare. I love being with my little one and it's also really tough. I'm a part-time SAHM. I was a full-time SAHM... but that was truly a complete disaster. (In part because my hubs travels for business.) I'm a creative soul too... so when I get a chance, I love to do anything creative. Even if it's something like re-arranging furniture or art! Now that I'm working part-time and my little is in school part-time... I try to get a run in, coffee and sketch by myself... or even browse etsy. I never intended to be a SAHM but I am, and I love it. I definitely need some me time on a regular basis, even if it's just going to the gym or grabbing a coffee by myself. I'm a SAHM and even though my daughter is now 2.5, I still find myself trying to figure out how to balance me time with us time while keeping everything else together.
