We’ve basically been living out of our diaper bag these days! Here’s what’s in there:
1) Marc by Marc Jacobs Preppy Nylon Eliz-A-Baby Diaper Bag – When shopping for a diaper bag, I wanted something that was really light; that way when I filled it up it wouldn’t completely weigh me down. This one is awesome and fits everything and anything I could try to pack in it. I even used it as a carry-on when we went on vacation last month, and it worked like a charm.
2) Honest Diapers & Travel Wipes – I keep at least 8 diapers and 2 packages of wipes in the diaper bag at all times. I’ve never been caught without yet.
3) Honest Hand Sanitizer Gel – After a diaper change, before a feeding, after we’ve walked the dog – I’ve become an avid hand sanitizer user since Baby M was born. I like the Honest brand which uses no harsh chemicals and doesn’t feel as drying.
4) Zippered Pouch – For my mom things: keys, wallet, phone, lip gloss. I love these cheeky Kate Spade designs!
5) Clean Outfit: Cardigan, Onesie, Pants & Socks – I love these onesies from Target and these comfy leggings from Gap. This cardigan is great to throw on her if it gets cold.
6) Aden & Anais Blanket – I use this as a light blanket, a carseat cover, emergency spit-up catcher, nursing cover – basically anything you can think of! I always have at least one with us, if not two.
7) Stroller Blanket – In case it gets chilly, or if we decide to make a stop at the park.
8) Extra Pacifiers – We’re still using the Mam pacifier brand. I always make sure there’s an extra in the diaper bag – I would not want to get stuck in traffic without one!
9) Ziploc Baggies – I throw at least 5 of the freezer-sized baggies in our diaper bag in the event of a blowout. That way her soiled clothes are contained and I can throw them right in the wash when we get home.
10) Hungry Caterpillar Teething Rattle – This is one of Baby M’s favorites, as she can easily grab ahold and get the teething part in her mouth. It also jingles and crinkles – bonus!
11) Sophie the Giraffe – Can’t leave home without Sophie!
12) Camelbak Water Bottle – Nursing makes me so thirsty, so I carry my water bottle with me everywhere we go. I probably drink at least 3 of these a day.

Such a good list. Hand sanitizer is such a great idea…I just use an extra wipe but now I think I’ll get some sanitizer instead! Thanks.

Thanks for the post! I would have NEVER thought to have an extra little bad for mom stuff, but it makes so much sense and then your stuff doesn’t get lost with the rest of the baby’s stuff! Genius! I also really like the ziplock bags suggestion too. Saving this list for SURE.

Thanks for sharing! After seeing countless good reviews on the honest brand diapers, yours being one of them, I went ahead and ordered some. I am so glad I gave it a try because I love them. They really soak the wetness while leaving baby’s drier than other leading brands. For now I am using them more for overnights and when we go out.
