It’s true that there are many more clothing options for girls, but that doesn’t mean our little boys can’t be stylish! Charlie is turning 5 soon and he’s at the age where he fits into the largest size in the toddler section, and the smallest size in the boys’ section. Because he’s a small kid, I buy bottoms from the toddler section, but I buy tops from the boys’ section which give him a little room to grow. Here are some of my fav0rite boys’ clothes at the Gap right now!
1) Moto jacket | 2) Varsity jacket | 3) Sherpa bomber jacket | 4) Wool peacoat | 5) Warmest snorkel jacket | 6) Printed shawl cardigan | 7) Sweater zip hoodie | 8) Slub henley | 9) Superhero cape tee | 10) Cords | 11) Gray skinny jeans | 12) Skinny jeans | 13) Camo cargo pants | 14) Duck Boots | 15) Desert Sneakers
I’m addicted to cute jackets for boys — they make them look so dapper and Gap has a lot of great options right now. I’ve also found their jeans and corduroys to be extremely durable. I’ve had pairs that have gone through two kids and were still in good enough condition to pass onto someone else! I actually pictured the duck boots pictured above for Olive (Gap usually carries them every year) because they look similar to much pricier Sorel boots.
1) Sherpa puffer jacket | 2) Gingham shirt | 3) Crewneck sweater | 4) Plaid shirt jacket | 5) Denim jacket | 6) Ribbed shawl cardigan | 7) Puffer vest | 8) Fleece convertible mittens
Charlie was obsessed with my glittens last winter, so I got him a pair of his own this year. He loved them so much that he wanted to go to bed wearing them! And while I can never seem to pull off a puffy vest, they look adorable on kids and provide a great layer of warmth when it’s chilly, but they’re running around the playground and need something a little more comfortable and breathable than a jacket.
Have you purchased anything for your little man from the Gap recently that you love?

I’ve been disappointed at how boring some of the toddler boy options have been lately. Lots of darks, solids, stripes. Which I could get away with before, but now that my son is becoming more opinionated about his clothes, it’s getting tougher.

We have #2 – the varsity jacket! Can’t wait for it to cool down some more so J can actually wear it.

@Mrs. Bee: Haha, I very much doubt it. But that’s OK. He’s 3. I’ve got no issues with Crocs, “Cars” and comfy pants.

Yep, but you didn’t select them!
I am a big fan of lined chino pants, and they have two options that are working out great!

@looch: i bought the lined cargo pants last year which were really great for winter (more comfy than jeans). but they got holes in the knees so i’m sticking to jeans this year.

I like #9! I love colors and try to find fun clothing for my little guy and its mostly a piece here and there. My favorite jacket is one i found at toddler girls section and its pretty neutral no hearts etc. but has lovely fall colors.
