Boyfriend jeans are everywhere again this Fall. This whole fashion calendar moves extra fast these days, as I swear the Boyfriend Jean was the “in” pant a year or two ago. Either way it’s a great new jean (or cord or khaki) pant style to add to your closet. It’s comfortable and can easily look both pulled together or super casual. And as I said, fashion moves so fast these pants either won’t go out of style at all, or they will be popular again before you even have a chance to pack them away. That’s a pretty good win when it comes to trends.
They all might look pretty similar, but not all boyfriend jeans are created equal! Some have a more dropped crotch, while others come pre-worn with rips. Depending on your style or body type, one might fit you better then the other.
No.1 – Classic, dark denim in a slimmer cut – more like a loose straight leg, perfect for the trend shy. Levi’s $198
No.2 – Newer colored cord styles have hit the block, great way to get three trends in one (cords, color, boyfriend). The Gap $69.95
No.3 – True blue boyfriend jean, a little loose a few rips – all just enough to stay flattering on the body. Current Elliot $204.48
No.4 – This might be the ultimate boyfriend jean – not too loose, a few tiny rips and in a classic dark denim. The Gap $79.95
Boyfriend jeans are really easy to wear everyday and style with your already existing fall items. But in case you still aren’t totally sold on the whole “tomboyish style,” here are a few quick and easy ways to style them.
Casual yet pulled together, comfy but still so chic.
Polka Dot Tee $45 . Jeans $198 . Leopard Flats $44.95 . Baseball Tee $13.80 (similar to above) . image source
Quick and easy way to style a super chic outfit for fall, and maybe get some use out of those work clothes (old or current).
Blazer $39.94 . Blouse $9.00 . Jeans $198 . Boots $89.95 . image source
Great everyday style, and simple to slip on in a rush – also so great for a nursing mom!
Shirt $25 . Jeans $198 . Shoes $49.95 . image source
The heels make all the difference — pull the look out of the casual zone and push it over into chic.
Sweater $78 . Jeans $198 . Heels $54.95 . image source
So what do you think, will you be rocking the Boyfriend Jean this fall? Which look is totally you?

I love it when trends stick around (or I blink and they come back). It takes me a while to warm up to pant trends but I’m now loving the boyfriend jean look, especially in the first and third looks.

This is perfect! I have a pair of Paige Skyline jeans in a material that keeps stretching out. I love that it’s so comfy but don’t want to wear it out because it never held onto its skinny shape. Now I see I can go for look #4 and wear it with heeled loafers and a J.Crew sweater.
