Happy Thanksgiving! We’re going to be taking the day off and celebrating turkey day with our friends, since both our families are abroad. But we’ll be back posting tomorrow!


Charlie is holding a bunch of acorns he collected on our walk to his daycare. He loves to collect acorns and put them in my coat pockets. Whenever I randomly find one in my pocket, I always smile and think of him.

Every time I have the opportunity to make a wish (birthdays, shooting stars, etc.), I always wish for the exact same thing way before I even had kids — a happy and healthy family. If I have that, then anything else is just icing on the cake! This is our second Thanksgiving as a family of four, and I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful husband, who completely supports me in everything I do, and two beautiful children who make me want to be a better person every day.
