My daydreams lately are filled with images of Spring weather: green grass, warm weather, blue skies, and playing outdoors with just a light coat and sneakers. But silly me; I just realized today that I totally forgot about the in between weather that Spring brings: the rain, the sloppy slushy snow, the mud! Really after a long winter, even the yucky weather that spring can bring sounds pretty dreamy. In order to prepare for the rainy, muddy weeks (probably months) ,we need the perfect pair of wellies, right? Partaking in the mud sloshing, and puddle jumping is on my agenda – the perfect rain boots will hopefully help me to stay dry, at least from the knee down. If you’re in the market for rubber boots for spring, I’m sure you will find the perfect pair to keep your feet dry and stylish right here!
Which is your perfect pair? Do you like bright colors and bold patterns to help add pop to a grey day? Or do you like to stick with the stylish basics?

I really want a pair of Hunter rain boots! I’ve been looking at the tall gloss. I love that they come in so many colors but I wish they were a little cheaper!

Hunters are the greatest investment ever (I have the “Huntress” version though because I have big calves). I live in Chicago and use them all year round.

I am on my second pair of Hunters and love them. I wore my first pair out after three years in Boston. With wool socks they are great in slushy snow too.

i love my hunters! while i love bright colors, i got mine in gray. they’re definitely an investment, and i don’t get to wear them too often since i live in los angeles, so i wanted to make sure i wouldn’t get tired of the colors years from now!

Love my Hunters, too! I also love the bright colors but decided to go with the glossy black. Definitely worth the investment.

Another Hunter-lover here! We don’t nearly get enough rain in SoCal, but I’ve managed to acquire 3 pairs of Hunters! Love those teal Target ones too!

@Mrs. Popcorn: I have a pair actually, in green – they are great. UK sizing though, so you have to be careful not to order to large. They have a fun stripe down the back too.

I love #9. It doesn’t rain enough where I am for me to invest in them. I bought a pair from Target when I was in college because my campus would flood. They are really uncomfortable!

Hunters are great! They’re good quality, which to me makes that $100 price tag a little sweeter. Why buy $20 boots if they’re not going to last you? My Hunters will probably last me the rest of my life, since I only wear them maybe 15-20 times a year.

I want a pair of hunters so badly! Every once and a while I see them at Nordstrom Rack, but I never pull the trigger because I tell myself I don’t need them in so cal. I have to admit though, I bought their welly socks one year and wore them in my cheap jc Penney rain boots …. They were super cute:)

I have the tall Hunter’s in black gloss, and just an FYI, the glossiness turns to fogginess. I rarely wear them since they’re pretty warm and I live in Florida, but the gloss on the toes turned grey-ish. I’ve read in reviews that a lot of people have the same issue. Other than that, I love them! They were great at the beach this weekend since it was freezing!
I just ordered these, though, since I need a summer rain shoe and wellies are just too hot. Hopefully they’ll work out well.
