I shamelessly stole this idea from Mrs. Paintbrush‘s blog!

One of my favorite things about parenting is talking. I love the process of babies learning how to talk, and as they get older, it only gets better and better. I tried to do this interview with Wagon Jr. when he was almost 3 and it was a big fat fail… but now that he’s closer to 4, the other day we were able to complete it! So here we go.

1. What is something Mommy always says to you? Junior.

2. What makes you happy? Laughing makes me feel happy.

3. What makes you feel sad? Scary things make me sad. When a big big dinosaur comes, I will be sad. And I will cry.

4. What makes you laugh? Happy!

5. How old are you? Three.

6. How old is Mommy? Five!

7. How old is Daddy? Three, like me!

8. What is your favorite thing to do? Drumming a big drum like this (stretches his hands way up)!

9. Who is your best friend?
The scary gigantor dinosaur. The other Maeve. Because she yells at me and tells me to clean up all the art because it’s all over the ground.

10. What do you want to be when you grow up? I wanna be a baseball – no, I wanna be a basketball player.

11. What are you really good at? Playing basketball.

12. What are you not very good at? Soccer ball and baseball.

13. What did you do today? I did coloring. (He did not color today.)

14. What is your favorite food?  Ice cream!

15. What is your favorite song? I Will See You Again. (He hears this Carrie Underwood song on the radio all the time and sings along.)

16. What do you want for your birthday this year? I want a Batman party!

17. What is your favorite animal? I like a giraffe.

18. What is love? Means… I love you.

19. What does daddy do for work? He works on his computer.

20. Where do you live? At summer camp.

21. Where is your favorite place to go? To summer camp!

Have you interviewed your toddler? What was their most entertaining response?
