I’m in the market for a nursery nightstand. I need something to hold a small CD/clock and a lamp, and one drawer for my Flintstones, Expecta prenatal vitamins, and baby’s vitamin D drops. The big box stores fail me in my mid-century inclinations, so most of what you see below is from fabulous etsy artisans, and only two items are completely one of a kind. So if you see something you like, I’m sure each of them can whip it up for you, or make a custom variation.
Do you know of any sites that have unique “nursery” furniture where I should be looking?

I don’t see how you could get much better than those options, they are amazing! I found nightstands to be the most ridiculously overpriced furniture items when I was in the market for them a year ago, especially since I needed them to be mini dressers and not just a tiny tabletop, so I turned to Craigslist. We got really nice ‘designer’ nightstands that were practically brand new for a fraction of the price.

you could try chairish. i think it’s a relatively new website, and they have used vintage furniture with a lot of modern midcentury.

Check out icandigthis.com. It’s a vintage store in NJ that specializes in mid-century modern. They have a pretty decent range of prices too.

@Modern Daisy: We got a great deal on Craigslist! A beautiful mini-dresser/nightstand that needed refinishing for $10, and DH already had the supplies. It’s definitely worth stalking CL for a deal.
