I didn’t need maternity clothing with Chloe until I was about 10 weeks along, but needed them almost right away this time around. I got really lucky because that means I can wear nearly everything I had bought from my first pregnancy! I did need to wear maternity clothing a lot sooner this time around so I did buy a few new pieces (like yoga pants to lounge in!) and a friend is letting me borrow some of her maternity clothes, too. I hate spending a lot of money on maternity clothing because it’s so temporary. Even though I am getting through two pregnancies with the same set of clothing, this is likely our last child so I don’t want to spend even more money on new clothing. I was working full-time in an office setting during my first pregnancy so I do have some nicer outfits, but now that I work from home comfort is my #1 priority.

Here are my favorite maternity must-haves!

1.  Tunic Tops  Pregnancy tops are always a bit longer, but I love the comfortable fit of a longer, flowing tunic. I pair mine with leggings and sandals.

2.  Ruched V-Neck Tank  I love soft cotton tees. They get me through spring and summer, and can be worn in the colder months with a sweater. This tee looks great with jeans, but I usually wear it with my yoga pants!

3.  Maxi Dresses  So, so comfortable and perfect for summer. Empire waist tops and dresses, in general, can be worn throughout pregnancy, too!

4.  Be Maternity Seamless Tank  I purchased this tank top in black with my first pregnancy and wore it all. the. time.  It’s so comfortable and breathable!  I liked that it’s form fitting compared to ribbed tanks, which felt like a dress on me after they stretched. I liked this so much I recently bought it in white!

5.  Lightweight Hoodie  I didn’t start wearing maternity clothes until it was spring time with my first pregnancy, so I didn’t need an actual sweatshirt.  Plus, I was hot all the time!  But I did find that I was chilly at night, so a lightweight top did the trick. Now I’m wearing maternity clothes in the winter time and this is really coming in handy!

6.  Long Sleeved Top  This shirt is so comfortable. I wish it came in more colors!  It looks great with jeans but I also wear it a lot with my yoga pants.

7.  Maternity Roll-Panel Yoga Pants  I love these pants so much I have them in both colors. They’re unbelievably comfortable and last me the whole pregnancy and post-partum period.  These pants feel like tiny clouds and don’t pinch when you roll the panel over. Toward the end of my pregnancy I will need to keep the panel up, but it’s nice and smooth and not very noticable. These pants are also form-fitting and flattering so I don’t have to worry about the legs feeling wide.

8.  Fold Over Shorts  These shorts are also so comfortable. They’re the same material as my yoga pants (#1) and are equally as comfortable. I sorely underestimated how short 5″ actually is, so these are definitely only going to be work at home.

9.  Oh Baby Super Stretch Jeans  I hardly ever shop at Kohls, but our store does have a pretty great maternity section. These jeans are the best thing to ever happen to my pregnant body.  I have no idea how I got 7 months use out of them (I was HUGE toward the end!), but I did and they’re amazingly comfortable.  =Everything Oh Baby has been comfortable to wear and I won’t buy maternity jeans anywhere else now.

10.  Maternity Leggings  I never wore leggings until I was pregnant with Chloe, and now I swear by them in pregnancy.  They look so cute with a tunic and are lightweight enough to wear on cool summer nights.

What maternity clothes couldn’t you live without?
