I saw this recipe on Facebook recently and it looked 1) simple, 2) filled with ingredients that were pretty good for you and Drake liked, and 3) quick to make. Today after Juliet went to take a nap and Drake was playing, I decided to try it.
The recipe called for:
2 ripe bananas
1 cup oats
a scoop of peanut butter
1/2 cup of chocolate chips
Mix together, make tiny balls and place inside the oven for 15 minutes on 350 degrees.
I tried this two ways. I made a batch right after I finished mixing things together, and placed the left over in the fridge for 15 minutes while the first batch was cooking. I found that the second batch had a better shape to them after being in the fridge, so next time I’ll try that trick again.
Fifteen quick minutes later Drake and I had a yummy little treat with our lunches. When Mr. Chocolate came home he quickly devoured a few leftovers. All in all a nice easy treat!

I made a small batch like this, without the peanut butter, and they were tasty. I read that the leftovers aren’t as good, but it wasn’t an issue since I ate the entire batch myself…

That sounds delicious! Plus easily dairy-free (using dairy-free chocolate chips)!

Looks great. What is a scoop of peanut butter, though? A spoonful? Ice cream scoop?
