Fall and winter style when you’re pregnant can be tricky. Actually anything regarding clothes can be tricky when you’re pregnant let’s be honest! I had a heck of a time finding clothes I actually wanted to wear when I was pregnant with my first. And then with my second I had a realization — stick to the basics and layer on accessories and clothes from my existing non-pregnant closet. Fall and winter pregnancy style is actually pretty fun (maybe not when you are rounding hat 9th month… then nothing is really that fun), if you focus the layers — things you can wear after baby arrives. Only half of my favorite maternity style looks consist of actual maternity items. Here are a bunch of really great ones.
basic white maternity tee and maternity blue jeans paired with your: wool overcoat and high heels

maternity tee or tank and maternity grey jeans paired with your: oversized sweater and short lace dress.

These are all really great outfits in many different styles, all based on the same “stick to basics” concept. Layer on existing items from your closet (the tops and coats don’t always need to be able to close) or purchase items you can wear next year when you have a baby in your arms. Here are a few really great and versatile maternity items you could use to add to your fall/winter wardrobe…
no.1 midi dress – no.2 oversized sweater – no.3 hoodie – no.4 shirt dress – no.5 pencil skirt – no.6 striped over sized shirt – no.7 color blocked sweater dress – no.8 pattern sweatshirt – no.9 parka – no.10 leggings – no.11 origami blouse tank – no.12 sweater – no.13 patterned blazer – no.14 tee
Get yourself some really great basics that you will wear everyday. A pair of jeans (or two), leggings (those ones are fleece lined for winter warmth), a pencil skirt, a coat, maybe a dress or two (depending on your lifestyle), some tanks and tees, and then layer on extras (maternity or non) to make your wardrobe you. The key to a really great fall and winter maternity wardrobe is the layers. It’s also really great to be able to take layers off when you heat up, because you know that will happen at least 10 times during the day.
I love the maternity hoodie and the outfit with the sequin clutch and fur scarf! Do you have a favorite look or item?

Not pregnant, but great styles! Also thank you for including a wide range of sizes and ethnicities, it doesn’t go unnoticed

Most of these are cute but I can’t believe the first picture is wearing those heels! I would be scared of falling over. Haha.
I’m such a klutz… flats for me all the way.

I love these and I love not buying a whole new wardrobe being pregnant in the fall/ winter! I haven’t been able to wear much maternity clothes from my first pregnancy because I now find so many things to be way too cutesy. I just want to wear my own style of clothes because second time around I feel nothing but cute chasing my toddler all day! Comfort, simplicity, and my own clothes are what I want

I have that Storq dress and it’s been the best maternity investment. I wear it at least twice a week so it’s worth the money and it’s soooo soft.

I love all the plaid! But not the overalls, at all. I have been happy with what I have found that suits my style in maternity. At least half the items (everything without side pleating) I will continue to wear after baby comes.

When I get pregnant next time I’m going to be glad I’ll have more fluid cash and can buy some of these awesome styles. I bought just about everything second hand last time, and they were not very stylish.
