I wasn’t sure how to determine which gifts came from us and which gifts came from Santa because we never did Santa growing up. But since they had short lists this year (a cat doll for Olive and a Megatron action figure/Decepticon symbol for Charlie), I decided that their one big gift could come from Santa, and the rest of the gifts and stockings could come from us. That way they get what’s on their letters to Santa, and it keeps their lists from getting too long in future years!
We’ve already wrapped all the presents and put them under the tree, except the ones they will be receiving from Santa. I wanted to find a way to differentiate the gifts from Santa so Minhee designed some adorable From Santa gift tags and labels! The gifts from us are wrapped with green ribbon, whereas the ones from Santa are wrapped with red ribbon and the special Santa gift tags.
I also found images of stamps and postmarks online that I put on there to jazz it up even more!
How do you decide which gifts come from you and which ones come from Santa?

Santa was always the hero in our house bringing mostly all the toys. More sentimental and personal items came from Mom & Dad – but usually they were still great items. So I tend to follow suit Toys from Santa – other more personal toys/stuffed animals/clothes/blankets come from us.

These are great! I recognized my mom’s handwriting on our Santa tags which was how I discovered Santa wasn’t real (she printed them by computer after that so my siblings didn’t do the same!)
@aegie: My mom always used special Santa paper that was different from anything she used on other presents. She usually used the more expensive, shiny paper from Santa.

Thank you for this! It couldn’t have come at a better time! I literally logged online to see what Santa printables there are out there b/c we had to tell the kids that Santa didn’t know we went to Gma’s house this year so he may have delivered their presents to our neighbor next door.
