I live in shorts once warmer weather heads our way. They’re practical (pockets!), easy to run around in, and with the right option, they can be incredibly stylish, too. Last year, I bought a pair of cream lace shorts from Loft’s Riviera line and instantly fell in love with them. They are amazingly comfortable and flattering and fit better than any other shorts I have — the waist has a bit of a give so they don’t cut off your tummy and give you a muffin top, and they keep their shape quite well.

This year, I picked up another pair in a different pattern (elephants!) and I couldn’t be happier with them. And I know once you try them, you’ll love them, too! Here are some of my favorites from this year’s Riviera line:

The best part is that the shorts come in several different inseam lengths: 2 1/2″, 3″, 4″, and 6″. Once you find the inseam that is right for you, you can’t go wrong! And here’s a little tip about finding the best inseam length: I find that having your shorts hit your thighs where they just begin to taper is most flattering. For me, that’s 4″ and it’s different on different bodies, but that formula has worked for all the friends I’ve helped style!
