Hi there! I’m so excited to be a new blogger on Hellobee! I’ve been reading the blog for about a year now, and I could not be more excited to have the opportunity to write here.
I’m a work at home mom to two kids, and Mr. Cereal and I met while we were working together about 8 years ago. We’ve been married now for four years at the end of this month. We started TTC in 2012 and conceived after five months of trying. Sadly, that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and it took another seven months to conceive again, which resulted in our amazing daughter. When she was eight months old, we found out we were expecting again and I gave birth to our son in June. Our life is crazy hectic now, but we try really hard to make it work.
I work as a program coordinator for an undergraduate program at a local university. Part of this position includes running a children’s educational program for 3rd and 4th grade kids. I also own my own event coordination business and that has been really fun for the last few years. Mr. Cereal brews beer for a local brewery and is super passionate about his work. I am very lucky because my job allows me to work from home two afternoons a week, which means I get to spend more time with my kids.
I chose Mrs. Cereal as my name because I straight up love cereal, plus I can give my babies really cute monikers for the blog. Little Fruit Loop anyone? I really love cooking, so a food name seemed appropriate.
I am so excited to share a little about our lives and how we live out here in the Pacific Northwest. You may notice that I will probably not be posting photos of my kids faces, and that is because Mr. Cereal and I have decided that we would like to keep their images off of the internet as much as possible until they are old enough to make that decision themselves. However I am not afraid to blog the truth about my life, and I tend to be very honest about how I feel as a mother. I can’t wait to add my perspective to the Hellobee community!

Welcome! I am actually glad to see a blogger who isn’t posting images of her kids…..we’re doing the same thing with our son and any future kids. We don’t have pictures on facebook, and I have a private instagram account for family. Anyway, I applaud your choice, and can’t wait to read more!

My husband (and let’s face it – I) will be eternally jealous of your husband’s job. We are big craft beer fans! And really, I’m a little jealous of your event coordinator job. Welcome to HB – look forward to reading more!
