One of my closest childhood friends recently moved to Korea, and I’ll be in Korea on her due date! She’s pregnant with her second child, and with second and third children I like to gift things they might not purchase themselves since they have most of the basics already. These are some of my favorite stylish and gender neutral baby gifts!
1) Minnetonka booties – These gender neutral booties are adorable on babes. For a bigger splurge, I love Freshly Picked moccasins.
2) Grimm Rainbow Nesting Bowls – I love Grimm’s wooden toys. Charlie started playing with nesting cups around 5 months old and he still plays with them at 6 for his imaginary picnics. The rainbow stacker and nesting rainbow (which we have) are also great, but better suited for kids 12 months+.
3) Personalized Wood Name Blocks – I love giving a personalized gift for second children because so much of what they use will be hand-me-downs. These walnut or maple blocks from Trae Designs are gorgeous but a little pricey. Bannor Toys and Little Sapling Toys both have pretty, more affordable options.
4) House of Mia Leggings – House of Mia has great gender neutral leggings, as well as adorable hats, bloomers, headbands and more!
5) EZPZ Feeding Mat – This plate/mat is perfect for starting solids and baby led weaning. It suctions to the table so baby can’t pull it off, and makes cleanup easy.
6) Whistle and Flute Onesie Set – Every time Olive wore her Whistle and Flute rain cloud sweater, people always asked where we bought it from. This gender neutral onesie set is a great shower gift.
7) Muslin swaddles – Everyone loves Aden and Anais swaddles and you can never have enough. At 4 years old, Olive still uses one as her lovey! I love the gender neutral print on this set. I also love the beautiful prints available at Spearmint Love and Little Unicorn.
8) Sophie & Lilli Custom Watercolor Portrait – This is such a sweet gift for a new mom.
9) Hooded Towel – Hooded towels are a gift that will definitely be used. I’ve purchased personalized ones from Pottery Barn Kids, but this hooded towel and book set from Land of Nod is too cute to pass up!
10) Quilt – Kids get really attached to their blankets, and they have uses beyond just bedtime. My kids like to use them for their indoor picnics. Little Unicorn has collection of beautiful prints. Spearmint Love has the timeless cross pattern blankets. And Candy Kirby Designs has fun prints as well.
11) hats – You can never have too many hats when it comes to babies. I loved dressing both my kids up in cute hats!
12) books – I always give books as parts of gifts. With second children they probably already have the most popular titles, so I like to gift lesser known, beautiful books such as Charley Harper’s ABCs and A Book of Sleep.
13) knee socks – This affordable set will look so cute on chubby little legs!
14) June & January Romper – Rompers always look good on babies!
15) bandanna bib – Girls tend to get most of the cute accessories, but boys will look dapper in these functional and stylish bandanna drool bibs!
16) Waterproof Picnic Blanket – I can never have enough picnic blankets and the park is the perfect place to go with two kids in tow.
. . . . .
