Gasp. Sob. Ugly cry, my (last) baby turned one  How can it be? This was by far the fastest year ever. It just seems like yesterday I was introducing Drake and Juliet to their new baby sister, and she is now determinedly cruising around the furniture and doggedly climbing the stairs despite my constant admonishments. She is cheeky, fun, and just plain adorable. We can’t get enough of her.

Fiona’s birthday didn’t go off quite as I had imagined when I attempted to take some photos before breakfast; big mistake as this girl loves to eat.

After we put some food in her she happily retook the photo for me.

That weekend we celebrated Fiona’s lamb party. I shared my ideas in this previous post, and I am pleased to say I think it came out pretty close to my vision.

I made the cake (designed after this one) and cupcakes from a family recipe as well as the cheesecake bites and oreo truffles. I owned the candy jars and cake stand already, saved from Drake’s first birthday party, but got the other two tall glasses as well as the white platters all from Home Goods for around $50 total. The picture frame was also from Home Goods though I had bought it a while ago. The cupcake stand came from Amazon. I bought the cotton candy from Etsy  and it was a huge hit with the kids.

The party went well despite the heat.  It was a sweet filled day for our much loved little lamb.
