If you’re throwing a family-friendly Halloween party, or just need some music to play in the background while you pass out candy to little trick-or-treaters, I’ve got the playlist for you. My Halloween playlist has been lovingly compiled over the past three years or so; every year, in early October, I purchase a handful of new songs on my master list from iTunes, and I write down any new songs that I think I might want to add in the future. It’s a work in progress!
I love breaking out my playlist every year to get us all in the Halloween spirit. So far, Little Cotton Candy likes “The Monster Mash” (because he heard it in one of those electronic greeting cards at Target), and “I’m in Love with a Monster” by Fifth Harmony (because Hotel Transylvania 2 is his favorite movie). I’m hoping one of these days he will appreciate the full extent of the playlist, but I’m not holding my breath.
Without further ado, my Kid-Friendly Halloween playlist (that’s fun for grownups too).
