Having a little one really changes how we approach the holidays. For instance we celebrate Hanukkah, but have decided to keep the stocking tradition so M can have a little bit of Christmas as well. I bought these adorable faux fur stockings at the end of the season last year and have been so excited to fill them this year. Here are a couple ideas for fun and practical stocking stuffers that everyone can enjoy!
1. Headphone splitter If you plan on traveling this holiday season this is a very useful item, especially if you have two kids sharing one device.
2. Google’s VR cardboard headset. Experience virtual reality with this inexpensive cardboard headset. Even if you are only mildly curious about VR, the price tag on this item is low enough to tempt even the most novice tech user. You simply load a VR video on your phone and view it through the cardboard headset. It’s a very cool experience.
3. Game of phones card deck – A fun way to find out how your smartphone skills compare to your friends.
4. Package opening tool – We constantly reach for this simple tool. It has a small retractable razor on the side that is especially useful when all those Amazon boxes arrive at your door.
5. Luxe Faux fur earmuffs – These beautiful ear muffs from Restoration Hardware are the perfect cold weather accessory.
6. Mitten clips – Make sure you don’t lose the brand new mittens your little one got for Christmas/ Hanukkah.
7. Glowsticks – M had so much fun playing with these glowsticks around Halloween that we decided to surprise him with a few more in his stocking.
8. Travel size microfiber screen cleaner. Keep your screens clean with this all-in-one microfiber cloth and cleaner.
9. Storm trooper socks – These are the cutest Star Wars socks to warm your feet!
10. Goo Gone pens – Easily wipe away sticker residue with these grab and go pens. If you aren’t familiar with Goo Gone, it is one of my favorite products for getting rid of that annoying residue that always appears when you pull a price tag off a label.
11. Magnetic wristband – This guarantees you don’t lose any of those teensy tiny screws when you assembly all toys your child got for Christmas/ Hanukkah.
12. Computer brush – Keep your electronics tidy with this sleek brush.
13. The Oven glove – It is brilliant that an oven glove is an actual glove rather than a mitten. It broadly fits most people and is so much easier to maneuver in than a simple oven mitt.
14. Cable organizer Keep your cables organized with this organizer. It holds all the cables you need in a flat case that doesn’t create bulk in your bag. Mr. Ice Cream and I both carry one and love them.
15. Temporary tattoos – M recently discovered a love for temporary tattoos, especially ones with Thomas the train. Luckily you can basically find temporary tattoos for anything your little one is interested in.
I’d love to know what you are putting in your stockings this year?
