I use completely different skincare products now that I’m pregnant. A lot of them are from the same line because when you find a brand you like, it makes sense to just switch everything over. Here are my current products that I’ve been using.

Favorite-Pregnancy-Safe-Beauty-Products

1.) Tata Harper Eye Cream – I love this eye cream because a tiny drop goes a long way. My under eye area is definitely more moisturized and smooth after applying this. I use it in the morning and night. Worth the expensive price!

2.) Josie Maran Argan Oil Face Butter – I love this line because it’s safe for pregnant or breastfeeding moms, has a very slight scent, is light and fluffy. I also love using argan oil in many things because it’s non-irritating and gentle. This cream is hydrating and feels great on the skin!

3.) Maple Holistics Sage Shampoo – One of the lovely gifts pregnancy has given me is intense dandruff. It’s crazy! My hair itches and is oily at the same time. I usually would pick up Head & Shoulders but wanted to research if there were more natural products. I’ve been using this shampoo and it has helped with the dandruff and smells so nice too! I think overall Head & Shoulders would have wiped out dandruff completely, even though it’s harsh. The Maple Sage shampoo helps a bit but is way more gentle on the hair. It also comes in a small bottle at $14 so it’s definitely the more expensive choice. I don’t plan to use this after the baby comes so it’s more of a temporary fix for now.

4.) Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser – I needed an exfoliator and cleanser that I could use on a daily basis. I liked that this product was gentle but did a good job buffing the face. Overall, Tata Harper products strive to use 100% organic materials, although they admit on their website it may not be certified 100% because not every natural ingredient can be certified as organic. (For example, fermentations, biotechnology and other powerful natural ingredients.) But they purchase ingredients from suppliers that use environmentally friendly practices.  However for me, that’s the perfect product. Some 100% organic products are so mild and weak that I might as well not use anything at all! But this company seems to combine a good amount of organic materials and is able to be effective at the same time.

5.) Josie Maran Bear Naked Nail Wipes – This may be my favorite product of the year. Why? Because it doesn’t smell. And even though these are ridiculously thin wipes, they get the job done. You got glitter on your nails? This will still take it off. It somehow uses more natural ingredients to effectively take off your nail polish and you won’t have to run away from your baby because of the acetone smell. It actually has a very slight grapefruit smell! With both hands, I can just use ONE wipe. Amazing! No grabbing a cotton pad and dousing it with acetone over and over. The pods come in a pre-soaked all over pads all lined up on top of each other. There’s nothing wrong with this product!

6) Burts Mama Bee Belly Butter – I was actually given this as a gift and have been using it around my belly and some dry areas around the body. It goes on nicely and doesn’t have too crazy of a smell, which is good because I have sensitive nose! I’ll have to wait and see if it helps with stretch marks but it has the typical shea butter and vitamin E ingredients. I was a little worried because I’m actually allergic to Burts Bees Chapstick but this product is geared for pregnant mommies and I haven’t had any reactions.

7) Babyganics Lip and Face Balm – I know many people advise against this, but I love kissing Baby Pencil on the lips! And I’m addicted to chapstick. So it makes sense to look for a baby safe chapstick! I love all of Babyganics products, so I thought I’d give this chapstick a shot. I’m honestly not very picky about my chapstick, as long as it’s conveniently placed in my purse and bedside. It gets the job done and I don’t have to worry about wiping away foreign products on Baby Pencil after kisses!
