I just got back from Korea and stocked up on makeup and skincare products! So what did I get at the mecca of beauty products?
Neogen Dermalogy Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Wine Pads – I’ve mentioned this line and product before, but when I repurchase a product it means that I really love it because I love trying new lines. The main ingredient is derived from red wine which has natural antioxidants and exfoliants. This jar contains 30 individual pads to use twice a week, so it lasts quite a while. I’m always on the lookout for great exfoliants, and this is a holy grail product!
Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Tissue – Typically I’m not picky about cleansing wipes, but I recently bought these and they are my favorites to date. They’re very moisturizing and do a great job of removing all my makeup.
Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel – I received this wildly popular Aloe Vera gel as a gift and it’s great to have on hand when you live on a tropical island in case of sunburns. It can also be used as a natural moisturizer or hair mask. I’ve tried quite a few products from the Nature Republic line, and am really a fan.
Nature Republic Snail Solution Essence & Foam Cleanser – Skincare products made with snail secretion have been popular for a while in Korea, and this essence and foam cleanser is what I’m currently using. If you can only add one Korean product to your regimen, let it be essence — it will make a huge difference in your skin. I usually wash my face with Dove Sensitive Soap and apply essence in the morning and that’s it. I only use foam cleanser when I’m wearing makeup. I love products like this that have a very light scent and consistency.
AHC The Real Eye Cream for Face – My mom gave me this eye cream that can also be used as a face cream because she really loves it (and she knows a lot about skincare products!). I try to remember to apply it on my eyes at least once a week!
Nature Republic Hydrogel Mask – I bought tons of sheet masks from different brands. My mom got me these hydrogel masks from NatureRepublic and I love them. Store them in the refrigerator so that they go on cold!
Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Activator – My Nature Republic Essence won’t last me very long because there isn’t very much in those type of pump bottles. I’m a fan of the Missha Line having tried their cult toner, which has been compared to the much pricier SKII version. So I asked a sales clerk if I were to only use one product from the Missha line, which she would recommend. Apparently this serum is supposed to be a much more affordable dupe for the cult classic Estee Lauder Night Repair serum!
Etude House Missing U Hand Cream – These are so adorable I like to give them as gifts!
O-Lens Russian Colored Contact Lenses – Korea has colored contact lens shops everywhere with such a huge variety of colors! I picked up daily disposable blue, gray and gold, and the gold (which is more like hazel) is my favorite.
. . . . .
Korea is a shopper’s paradise, especially when it comes to beauty products!

I decant the essence I am using (Missha brand) and just spritz it on so as not to waste it or have to use a cotton pad.
I added an essence and snail mucin cream to my regimen and they’re little life changing. I don’t need to do so much to my skin any more.
