It can feel really hard to find the perfect gift for your husband, brother, and other guys in your life, but it doesn’t have to be! There are so many great gift ideas for guys, 10 of which I’ve rounded up below (price listed subject to change and hopefully, maybe even drop during holiday sales):

airpods

1/ Apple Airpods ($159) – Wireless headphones are on lots of tech-loving guys’ wishlists now that Apple has removed the headphone jack from its latest line of iPhones. These Airpods receive excellent reviews and are something a lot of guys (including Mr. Peas) not only want but also need!

opentable

2/ Gift certificate to his favorite restaurant through OpenTable (you choose $) – I generally try to avoid gifting gift cards, especially at Christmas when one major tradition is opening gifts together. Exceptions occasionally have to be made though, and a gift certificate to your brother-in-law’s favorite restaurant is a super thoughtful gift. I love that you can purchase gift certificates directly through OpenTable and use the OpenTable information to guesstimate how much your recipient will need to enjoy a nice meal.

sous vide

3/ Sous vide cooker ($99 on sale) – I have a brother-in-law who is a major foodie and he absolutely loves his sous vide cooker. Pair it with a sous vide cookbook or a (free) print out with copycat instructions for making your own version of the popular Starbucks Sous Vide Egg Bites!

smartwool

4/ SmartWool socks (starting around $17) – Yup, I went there folks – I added socks to a holiday gift list. But honestly socks, especially my favorite wool ones, can be a really good gift. My husband has approximately 100 socks in his sock drawers and maybe 10 matching, hole-free pairs. Also wool socks are amazing – I can literally chase my dog across my wet grass and walk back in the house with dry feet.

cairn box

5/ Cairn outdoor gear box subscription (starting at $29/mo) – Here is a secret I’ve learned about (most) men: a lot of them love the outdoors or at least the idea of the outdoors. This subscription box is perfect for the actual or alleged outdoor-loving men (or women) in your life.

mug

6/ You are a good dad mug ($16.50) – For the first few years that Mr. Peas and I dated, I kept giving him gifts that seemed like great ideas but ultimately were not used a lot. I’ve steadily improved over time, but I have to say I knocked it out of the park with this simple mug. Mr. Peas drinks his coffee from it EVERY morning, and it always makes him smile. And yup, there is a mom version too (and these ones are not out of stock like these uber trendy, similar ones from Target’s new Hearth & Hand collaboration with Chip & Joanna Gaines, which I’ve seen on lots of gift guides this year).

popcorn

7/ Popcorn popper ($25) – I’m always on the lookout for relatively inexpensive, thoughtful gifts my little boys can “gift” to Dad, and this popcorn machine is at the top of my list. All the boys in my house (little and big) LOVE popping some popcorn and watching a Pixar movie together. Pair the popper with a big package of popping corn and you have the perfect guy gift.

hillflint-iu-sweater-e1481659431881

8/ An old-school college sweater (starting around $90) – I absolutely love the retro look of the sweaters and sweatshirts from Hillflint. Pretty much every man in my life would be thrilled to receive one of these personalized based on his alma mater or favorite team.

kiehls

9/ Kiehl’s Men’s Starter Kit ($45) – Most men appreciate beauty products way more than we think they do, so a curated kit of awesome skincare products is likely to be well-received(and to be something he wouldn’t likely buy for himself. This particular kit is sold out almost everywhere, which is always a good sign!

pizza

10/ Chicago deep dish pizza delivered to his door (priceless, well actually $68) – Mr. Peas has worked remotely in Chicagoland for extended periods of time, and he (like millions of others) LOVES Chicago deep dish pizza. Can you imagine how many bonus points you would earn if you scheduled delivery of deep dish pizza straight from Chicago for arrival on Dec 26th?

Bonus ideas for guys – Any of the ideas on my gift guide for dads and fathers-in-law will also work for the other guys in your life, as well as some of the ideas on my gift guide for moms and mothers-in-law (specifically #3, which I actually bought for Mr. Peas on Black Friday).
