My friend Minhee of Paper + Cup Design has started a project photographing her son’s stuffed animal collection. At first she started taking pictures of them one by one, but that took too long so she grouped them together by color. My kids also have an abundance of stuffed animals, and I loved this idea as a way to preserve their favorite little friends forever, as well as create some colorful artwork for their bedroom walls!

While the photos are cute, I am surprised by the number of stuffed animals in those photos. This is all for one child? My kids have about five each, and I already thought they had more than enough. Maybe it’s a European vs. US thing?

Cute idea! Never occurred to me. I have no photography skills but I do like looking back and seeing what toys my son was holding a year or two ago that we’ve since gotten rid of.
Photos are a little time capsule!

Cute idea, especially when I’m ready to start getting rid of them all!

That is a cute idea! I wish I have pictures of all of my stuffed animals when I was young!

These are super cute! Though I definitely don’t have the photography skills for them, and Snowy only has the equivalent amount of stuffies of one or two photos (all different colors).

@MM Maybe it is a U.S. thing (I live in the U.S.). My daughter has received stuffed animals from her grandma, grandpa, both her great grandmas, her great uncle, and other various family members in many cases on more than one occasion

and needless to say, she has amassed quite a collection. I’m not a huge fan of stuffed animals but she does play with them often (although I’m sure I could narrow in on her favorite five). I like the idea of including some of her toys in pictures because I can see the memories it could spark later.

I missed this post, Thanks bee for sharing! =) It’s so much stuffed animals and I wish I didn’t let it pile up but it’s the last bits of him being a little boy and I have to admit it’s harder for me to let go now!
