Charlie told me last week that he is open to the idea of going to school. It wasn’t something I was thinking about at all, but all his friends go to school so I think he feels like he’s missing out. It would be a huge change from his 3 years of unschooling/homeschooling, and 4th grade is academically rigorous. He would be going into 5th grade if we stayed in the US, but since he has a December birthday (the cutoff was December 31 in New York), I am definitely holding him back when we return to the US. A lot to think about!
