Since Pizza #3 was my third and most likely my last baby, I tried to limit buying a lot of new baby items. These five items below are some things that I have found very useful to have this time around.
Dekor Classic Hands-Free Diaper Pail – I have really liked using this diaper pail. I have used the Diaper Genie at a friend’s house and I remember not liking that I had to squish and push down the diaper through a small hole. The Dekor diaper pail is simple to use, affordable and does an excellent job keeping the room odor-free.
Medline Ultrasoft Dry Baby Wipes – I have actually used these wipes during the early months with all three of my girls. These wipes were used at the hospital and I’ve always liked to use them when my girls are newborns because I feel like their skin is a bit more sensitive. I just run the wipes under a little water and use it like a regular wipe. I like knowing that it’s just water on these wipes and nothing else. I also like that I can control the wetness of the wipes because I don’t like when the wipes are too wet.
BabyBjörn Bouncer – My sister had used this bouncer so I requested hers when she no longer needed it. If Pizza #3 is not in her bassinet or in someone’s arms, she is in this bouncer. It’s been a great replacement for the Rock and Play which I no longer use due to the recall. The bouncer is really easy to bounce with a gentle foot tap. It’s suitable from newborn to 2 years, changing from a bouncer to a chair.
OXO Tot Space Saving Drying Rack – I’ve gone through a few different drying racks for bottles over the years. I like this one because the design of it frees up more counter space.

Utility cart – I use this cart to organize the items I use daily with Pizza #3. I used some of these organizers to have space for diapers, wipes, onesies, burp cloths, and more. I can easily move it around the house depending on where I am spending most of the day.
Do you have baby items that you use daily that you love to use? Please share!

I’m so with you about trying to get as little as possible for #3! But I hate that the industry keeps coming up with cool innovative products that I want

@graceandjoy: ha you are totally right! Things just look prettier too. I definitely have to restrain myself and remind myself that I don’t need it.

@Mrs. Pizza: I had totally been eyeing the snuggle me lounger; thank goodness my SIL has one to give me, I don’t care that it’s purple and I’m having a boy haha! And

I love the utility cart and am definitely going to get one! I was thinking we would have to get a whole big dresser but it will be much more affordable to get a smaller one and a cart to keep the diapers in.
I’m definitely going to get a bottle drying rack like the one you linked to this time.

@graceandjoy: ok confession! The snuggle me lounger is definitely something that I wanted. I wish I knew someone that doesn’t need it anymore too

i bought myself a utility cart from ikea to use for the exact same purpose only we never got around to assembling it before baby was born and then forgot! my 5yo is using it as his “art cart” so he can easily move his art supplies from his room to our kitchen table.

@jhd: as long as it’s being useful in some way, it’s a win…right?
