I went a little overboard on Christmas gifts this year since we’re in the US for Christmas for the first time in four years, and it’s the first time we’re celebrating with my parents and brother (we were always in New York or the Philippines). Because I never believed in Santa, I have definitely relished in the magic of the holiday season since having kids of my own. Perhaps the most fun part for me is the stockings that I fill up little by little. These are the gifts and books I got the kids, and this is what’s going in their stockings — mostly impulse purchases that were cleverly displayed next to the checkout line at Barnes and Noble, Target, Daiso and Trader Joe’s!
Magnetic Poetry Tiles – I’ve wanted to get the kids this for ages! This is not the original Magnetic Poetry, but it has better reviews and more words.
Gryffindor and Hufflepuff Jelly Bean tins from Barnes and Noble because they love little containers and Harry Potter.
Harry Potter Magnetic Bookmarks
Line Friends Bandaids – My brother got them this and character bandaids are an easy and fun stocking stuffer.
Pokemon Cards – The kids collect them as do almost all their friends.
Whoppee Cushions – I know this will crack them up as much as it will be annoying to me. My brother recently gave them this rattlesnake eggs prank that we had as kids that they’ve been loving so much.
Chocolate Passport, Chocolate Orange and Chocolate Coins from Trader Joe’s. Only one of each, and they will share.
Mini Gumball Dispenser, Japanese Gum, and Trident gum because we don’t have as many gum options in the Philippines.
Skittles Candy Cane, Christmas Pez, Chocolate Covered Sunflower Seeds
What is going in your stockings?

Stocking stuffers are so sneaky because you order one thing here, another thing there and before you know it, you amass this huge pile of stuff. I personally love getting lots of little small things so I love stocking stuffers!

Very cute! Excellent stockings! My son just turned four. He’s getting hot wheels, candy, bulldozer fork and spoon set, rubics cube, a couple of pieces to add to his wooden train set, and this little animal I found that you color with markers and wash off in the bath again and again!

@wrkbrk: that bath animal sounds amazing. Can you share the link or info where to buy?
