This is going up so late! I must confess she’ll be 10 months in a week… but better late than never!

Stats

At her nine-month check up, Baby Markers weighed 17 lbs 13 oz and measured 27 inches long. Definitely putting on some weight! She’s wearing size 3 Honest diapers and a mix of 6 month, 6-12 month and 9 month clothes.

Eating

Oh my, this child can eat. And she eats EVERYTHING. We’ve moved to three meals a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. She loves yogurt, chicken, eggs, waffles, sweet potatoes and lasagna. There are very few things she will turn away – but she prefers to eat “meals” as opposed to basic steamed veggies or plain turkey and chicken. I’ve had to great creative with some recipes, but typically she eats what we eat. She also has 3 bottles a day of 6-8 ounces each — one when she wakes up, one before her afternoon nap and one before bed.

Sleeping

Still being very nice to her mommy and daddy and sleeping like a champ. She takes two solid naps a day, but her morning nap is getting shorter and shorter. She usually compensates with the afternoon nap, typically sleeping between 2-3 hours. It’s glorious for my productivity’s sake!

Development

We now have five teeth – a third one on the bottom popped through just after she turned nine months. Other than that, we’re pretty much status quo. Still pulling up and cruising, and occasionally using her walker or pushing a toy across the room, but she shows no signs of being ready to walk on her own. She’s fast enough crawling so we’re content to wait!

Likes: Abby our dog, playdates at our friends’ houses or indoor playrooms (meaning new/different toys!), making music with her maracas and tambourine, opening cabinets, tickles, funny faces, happy screaming/screeching at the top of her lungs, mealtimes, music of any kind

Dislikes: diaper changes, lying down on her changing table, staying inside all day, being held

I can’t believe how fast the past nine months have flown by!
