It’s a good thing that sun protection comes so darn cute. Between the hats and the sunglasses (little hats coming soon), it’s adorable and safe cuteness overload. Now the only thing someone needs to invent is how to get kids to a) stop losing them and b) wear them alll the time. So far the easiest way I have found to make a and b happen is to let them choose their favorite – usually it’s not my favorite (actually always), but they take much better care when they love it and choose it.
Here is a big list — maybe they can choose a protective pair of adorable sunglasses that they love and maybe you will too!
no 1. old navy – no 2. the gap – no. 3 the gap – no. 4 j.crew – no. 5 babiators – no. 6 old navy – no. 7 j.crew – no. 8 boden – no. 9 target – no. 10 the gap – no. 11 j. crew factory – no. 12 h&m
There is a style for every kiddo. The good thing is, most of these are pretty inexpensive since buying more then one pair would probably be a good idea.
Will your little one wear sunglasses? Which is your favorite style?

She is seriously addicted to sunglasses this year. It’s adorable and hilarious at the same time.
Time to Hound sales because #3 is awfully cute and in mommy’s favorite color.

babies wearing sunglasses are just adorable, and mine just started figuring out that they keep her eyes shaded. I’m itching to get her a pair of aviators!

My kids love my sunglasses and in fact broke a pair of mine. It is all good because I am terribly rough with my sunglasses so I get them at the dollar store
I found a cute batman pair at Michael’s and then found a bunch that were kids sized at the dollar store. I keep a pair for each kid in each car since that is where they want to wear them. They don’t want to wear them when they play outside. The rule is they go in the car pocket prior to exiting the car, but we still managed to lose a pair or two. So I should got see if they dollar store still has some and keep a few spares.

@shellio: i ordered some from childrensplace!
http://www.childrensplace.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/en/usstore/search/boys-clothing/boys-accessories
they haven’t arrived yet so i can’t attest to the quality. asians don’t have prominent nose bridges so often sunglasses don’t stay on well so they need the nose pads that are on the aviator style.
we’ve had luck with gap sunglasses, but some just don’t stay on olive’s nose because her nose bridge is so flat!

We have a pair from the Gap and my LO is OBSESSED. He wears them everywhere and when we go inside he puts them on his head. He copies his mom and dad way too much!

@Mrs. Bee: Awww thanks, those are adorable and so cheap!! I was actually already inspired by this post to order a pair of babiators that I found on amazon, the customer pics of them are adorable! They did cost $20 but are guaranteed (lost or broken!) for a year. I also ordered a couple extra pair as gifts – this might be a new go-to shower gift!

These are all too cute! Honestly, Little P just wears whatever my parents have recently bought him. Which is probably not in style at all, but I don’t mind since they’ll only be on him for a minute before he rips them off anyway.

I can never get my kids to wear their sunglasses! They’ll put it on for a little bit, then chuck them.

@Mrs. Bee: We have the same problem with the sunglasses staying on! We had really good luck last year with a pair from “Crazy 8” … The Children’s Place versions hold up better (in my opinion) but the Crazy 8 ones seem to fit better, so I’m hoping to score some more from there in the next couple of weeks.

We’ve had a lot of luck with pairs from the Dollar Spot at Target and have used different pairs from there over the last few summers. I really want to get Lil’ CB some metal frame aviators, though!

These are so cute! M loved his sunglasses but now that he has to wear glasses we can’t use them. I’d love to get a pair of prescription sunglasses for him.
