My daughter has a thing for dresses lately, as in she wants to wear them every single day. I mostly just go with it and ask her to wear a pair of shorts as well, since sitting like a lady is just not a possibility for a four year old. The easiest and most negotiable compromise always comes with the offer of a playsuit/romper/jumpsuit (whatever you want to call it) – it’s sorta like a dress, but also not at all. Basically it makes getting dressed super easy, but she stays comfy all day and can swing like a monkey at the park and not worry about her dress going over head (not that she ever worries, but it’s just not as fun when your dress is blocking your upside down view). So before they are all gone for the summer (most of these are on summer sale), here are our favorites from around the interweb.
no.1 the gap – no.2 zara – no.3 old navy – no.4 zara – no.5 crazy 8 – no.6 the gap – no.7 zara – no.8 the gap – no.9 the children’s place – no.10 soprano – no.11 joe fresh – no.12 w girl
No.2 and No.10 are my favorites, which is yours?

I love rompers, and keep eyeing #8 from babygap, but one thing all parents should be warned about is to not buy rompers the year you plan to potty train! They’re just such a pain to take on and off in a hurry, especially for the newly potty trained toddler. I stuck to dresses, shorts, and pants that year!

Love rompers as well! I hope to stock up on the sales for next summer. I love the No.8 one with the fish, so adorable. I’ve been eyeing that one.
@Mrs. High Heels: oh I just read your comment about potty training. Hmmmm. LO will only be 22-24m next summer so we likely won’t quite be PT yet.

I like No. 3 and 8. But I agree with Mrs. High Heels – definitely a pain if you are potty training or even if your kid is fully potty trained. The only rompers I buy now are the ones with snap buttons at the bottom for easy access!

I cant get into rompers for older kids because of the bathroom issue but they are so cute on little ones!

These are super cute! Although I haven’t been fashionably courageous enough yet to try a romper for myself.
