Shamrock Headband

  1. Cut 3 pieces of felt about 1.25 x 2”
  2. Either draw or free hand cut out the shamrock shape
  3. Needle and thread at base of leaf shape
  4. Close it in tight to form the leaflets, sew up the backside
  5. Add stem
  6. Open up the shamrock and style
  7. Cut elastic ribbon to size and knot
  8. Sew on Shamrock

Mini Leprechaun Hat

Materials used:

  • Toilet paper roll cut in half
  • Felt fabric sheets in various greens
  • Black construction paper
  • Yellow felt fabric
  • Elastic band
  • All purpose craft glue
  • Cutting knife
  • Self healing cutting mat
  • 1/32nd hole punch

Hat Directions:

  1. Cut the toilet paper roll in half
  2. Measure the height of the roll against the sheet of fabric and cut.
  3. Roll it around and glue. Trim the excess with scissors.
  4. Cut about ¾” inch black strip for hat decor and glue on
  5. Trace the circle part of the roll on felt with pen/pencil and cut it out
  6. Trace again but now cut out a larger circle to create the hat brim
  7. Glue the edge of the toilet roll on both ends and glue on the small and large circle
  8. Cut a rectangle out of the yellow felt, fold in half and cut out another smaller rectangle. This will create the buckle look.
  9. Glue on.
  10. Punch holes on 2 sides of the hat brim, close to the hat
  11. Slide in the elastic and tie.
