These fortune-eggs make fun conversation starters as well as a fun gift for Easter. Prep time is only a few minutes!
- Hollowed out eggs
- Thin piece of paper that is easy to roll
- Pen
- Box, nest, candies (optional)
- Tissue (or napkin, tape to cover the hole)
- Mod podge (or glue)
- Paint brush
- Glitter
Directions:
H0llow out the eggs and let dry over night if possible. Using a small sharp scissor, create a larger opening at one end
Create your fortune on a thin long strip of paper. Roll it up and place inside the egg.
Cut a thin piece of tissue paper out to cover the hole and mod podge over it. You can use normal glue and napkin or a piece of tape.
Using your paint brush, paint patterns with mod podge or glue.
Shake glitter on the egg and gently tap off excess.
If you’re short on time, you can skip the glitter and opt for gold eggs!
