So what do our real mom bloggers want for Christmas? I think a housekeeper, a day of pampering, and a good night’s sleep tops everyone’s list! Here is what else we’re wishing for this holiday season!
I gave away all my purses before moving to the Philippines so I’d love a leather crossbody that is nice but isn’t too pricey for travel. This one from J Crew fits the bill! I also love singing so I would love a karaoke machine!
I would LOVE a PlumPaper or Erin Condren planner, some new black boots, a gym membership or a Starbucks gift card!
This year I am hoping to get a few items to spruce up my workspace, like a new keyboard (my current one is about to die!) and some faux succulents, since I keep killing my real ones. As for something frivolous, I would love something homemade, like a sugar face scrub or some holiday-themed baked goods.
I am coveting these Frye boots so badly… I also want to have a spa day. Nothing big, just a massage and a pedicure.
We decided we aren’t doing gifts this year between the two of us, but if we were I’d probably ask for some cozy clothes or a piece of jewelry that commemorates our kids!
I am about to ditch the diaper bag, but I have gotten used to having a decent sized, messenger style pack. I would love to upgrade to this beautiful leather messenger bag for everyday use.
For Christmas I definitely would love a new jacket like this one or a piece of jewelry with my LOs names like the ones Lisa Leonard makes.
I was just thinking about how this is the best earl grey I’ve ever had, and then I went to the website and it says the exact same thing. Truth!
I would love a massage. I was in a car accident in November and my neck and back have been a bit off ever since. But in the more doable price range I also would love some science themed necklaces. I am an elementary school science teacher and I wear science themed skirts (channeling Ms. Frizzle of the Magic School Bus) and the kids love it when my necklaces match my skirts. There are a lot on etsy that I love.
I’d love some stylish hair clips that don’t snag. The girls are in the dreaded hair-pulling phase and it’s become necessary to pull my hair back the minute I walk in the house with them, and I’m quickly growing weary of my boring elastics!
I always have lofty aspirations of being the type of person with a kitchen full of beautiful serving pieces & homemade goodies. I just read about this new line of Artisanal Kitchen Supply at Bed, Bath, & Beyond and would love a few pieces. I particularly have my eyes on this cake stand.
I’m out of my everyday perfume and I’d love another bottle of it.
I had to switch to backpacks for my purses after hurting my back in the summer, so I’m crushing on this backpack. It’s structured enough to look professional, and has the pockets and sections I like to feel functional.
I would really love to have a clean house. My dream is to have someone gift me housekeeping services . . . or to just come and clean my home!
I’ve just gotten back into hot yoga and I would love another one of these towels to put over my mat.
I want my gifts to be donations to groups like ACLU, Doctors Without Borders, and the World Wildlife Fund. For an actual physical thing, I have been admiring this artist on Etsy forever and love her little ceramic creations. I would love to have a few one day to decorate my desk.
Would love a really nice pedicure, it’s been forever!
. . . . .
What is on your holiday wishlist for yourself?

Ooh, that clay unicorn is so cute! And a massage, pedi, or spay day sounds amazing right now.

Along the same lines as a clean house, I asked for a Roomba vacuum cleaner. We’ll see – my husband wasn’t thrilled with this as a gift.

I bought myself an amazing pair of sneakers and a backpack that will function for the gym, travel, and my job.
I always feel weird asking for something really specific, so if I want something I just get it for myself.
I did however hint around about wanting a prenatal massage to my husband!
