Thanks for these round-ups! I really enjoy them. But why does that one guy have to dump on Pixar?! It’s hardly a novel observation that Hollywood makes formulaic movies.

@honeybear: i agree! (and i also love these roundups) and it’s so odd that he uses Coco as the first example – that film was amazing and had some surprising plot twists… maybe it’s formulaic because some parts of human life are universal – that doesn’t make them less beautiful
