Have you seen the petition to change the date of Halloween to the last Saturday in October? My birthday is the day before Halloween, and I’ve always loved it because there was always something fun going on. In fact, Olive was supposed to be born on October 31st and I was really looking forward to it (scheduled c-section) but she had other plans and arrived early. Halloween will always be October 31st to me! Would you want to change the date of Halloween?

As a teacher who had to teach elementary today, absolutely, change it to a Saturday! Overtired kids who bring candy for snack and lunch are not optimal for learning.

Definitely keep it 10/31! First because isn’t it a religious-type celebration and that’s why it’s held that day? And second because it’s my daughter’s birthday
No reason kids shouldn’t get to have a day of fun at school, and it takes up all of 2 hours in the evening to trick or treat.
