Like most toddlers, Charlie prefers to eat snacks than actual food. These are some of his current favorites — they’re easy to toss in the diaper bag and head out.  You’ll find some more favorite baby and toddler snacks below the fold!

1) Trader Joe’s Freeze Dried Blueberries – Minhee introduced me to these and Charlie is obsessed with them. They also come in strawberry, banana, and mango too, but Charlie prefers blueberry best, followed by strawberry (even though mango and banana are sweeter). The only downside is they smudge and can get a little messy.

2) Chocolate Pocky – I think Charlie likes that they come in fun, long sticks. I use these as bribes during long car rides.

3) Ritz Crackers – Lunchables pretty much consist of Ritz Crackers, deli meat and cheese, so I make my own for Charlie’s lunches.

4) Happy Baby Yogurt Melts – Gerber makes a similar product, but I like that these are organic and I can often find them at a lower price. These have been a long-time favorite snack of Charlie’s because he loves yogurt.

5) Mini Marshmallows – Marshmallow are so much fun to eat and play with! You can create mini smores for lunches by packing marshmallows, teddy grahams, and chocolate chips.

6) Brother’s Freeze Dried Pear Crisps – These are yummy and sweet and the only ingredient is pear!

7) Annie’s Organic Bunny Fruit – This is what I use to bribe Charlie to leave the playground.

8) Shrimp Chips – Gotta have some Korean snacks in there! Charlie loves these — I think it’s the shape.

9) Dried Seaweed – These come in individual packs of three and kids love em!

10) Oatmeal Raisin Granola Bar – Charlie loves raisins so I can get him to eat granola bars and cereal if they have raisins in them.

The snacks below are ones that Charlie has loved at some point in his little lifetime.

1) Annie’s Organic Cheddar Bunnies – (or Pepperidge Farm Goldfish). Charlie loved these for a very long time, but we don’t give them to him anymore since they always have them in daycare.

2) Happy Baby Puffs – The first snack that we introduced to Charlie and loved for many, many months!

3) Mum Mums – Another first snack. The original ones are great, as are the strawberry flavored ones shown above!

4) Pepperidge Farm Pretzel Goldfish – I’ve heard that the taste for salty develops before the taste for sweet. I think that’s definitely been the case with Charlie. He loved things that were salty and didn’t really like sweets. But now he prefers sweet over salty!

5) Graham Crackers – (or Teddy Grahams) This is a favorite snack of one of Charlie’s friends. They love to share food which means Charlie eats a lot of graham crackers.

6) Pirate’s Booty – (or Veggie Booty) This is the most popular snack at Charlie’s daycare. The kids ask for, “more booty!”

7) Animal Crackers – Charlie is really into animals lately so I’m going to have to revisit animal crackers.

8) Calbee Snapea Crisps – A healthy, crispy veggie snack for your little ones (or you)!

9) Cheerios – (or Multigrain Cheerios) Perhaps the most loved childhood snack? I don’t know what it is about Cheerios because they’re not particularly tasty, but all kids seem to love them!
