First, let me apologize for the confusion to many of you! This journey has been up and down and all around. Every day seems to pose different changes and issues, so bear with me as we try to keep up with this crazy life we now live!
About 7 months ago, my husband and I decided to start the adoption journey. We decided that a domestic adoption would be best for us. For those of you who may not know, a domestic adoption is when adoptive parents and child are citizens and residents of the same country. In this case, the United States. With the particular agency we went through, private adoption was not an option so we were looking at fostering to adopt. Basically, this means that we are the child’s “foster parents” until the adoption goes through. Any child that is permanently placed with us is assumed adoptable. This is where it gets confusing. We are not foster parents, but we are legally given that title until our adoption is complete. Hope that makes a bit more sense. For more information on adoption, this is a helpful site.
Since we are in the middle of all of this, I am unable to post pictures of our little ones or use their names. This is for safety and legal reasons. I do apologize — believe me when I say it is killing me to refrain from showing you pictures of their beautiful faces!!! I am also unable to discuss the details of their adoption process, since there are many factors involved at this time. This could be a few months until then, so I have to be patient and hopeful that soon enough I can show off my little bugs! I will share as much as I am allowed until then!
This is a scary process for my husband and me. Although they are adoptable, there are never any guarantees. We are learning so much about them everyday. We love them more each day, as though they are our own. Please keep us in your prayers for this process to go smoothly and quickly!

Thanks everyone! Prayers and good vibes are appreciated
@coco bee Yes, we have two. They are siblings and we didn’t want to have to separate them, especially since they are so close in age.
