Hellobee

This post is a bit late (Liam turns one on Saturday – oops!), but the pictures were taken on time. This was the first monthly photo shoot that he just refused to sit nicely and smile for the camera – something that I’m sure that will continue to be a problem for several months (years?) to come.

Daddy stepped in to read Liam one of his favorite books.

No well visit until he’s a year old, so no update on those stats.

Diaper size: size three disposable diapers, six to eight (depending on the diaper, some are tighter than other for no apparent reason) unsnapped in the middle and one row unsnapped on the bottom in cloth

Clothing size: 9-12 or 12-18 months, but he can still fit into some 6-9 month things

Nicknames: little man, sweetie pie, handsome guy, my love, big boy, baby doll, muffin man, fuss bucket

Loves: CLAPPING, waving, “dancing” to music, the morning, being outside, drinking from a sippy cup, eating food – 3 meals plus snacks (he is down to one 4-5 oz bottle of breastmilk a day, plus three nursing sessions), crawling, standing, cruising, walking with his walker wagon, saying dada, saying DAT (dog), saying nonono (I think), blowing raspberries, taking a bath in his inflatable tub or with daddy, reading stories – now he brings us books he wants to read (it makes my heart explode), playing with the pots and pans in the one cupboard without a lock in the kitchen, smiling at everyone we meet, playing with all the trash cans in the house (makes me crazy)

Hates: diaper changes (!!!), getting dressed (!!!!!), getting cleaned up after eating, falling down, being told “no”

2/25 – Figuring out how to use a spoon (he can get it in his mouth, but prefers to scoop the food off with his fingers)

 Less than a week until his first birthday. Whoa.
