There are so many fun ideas for Christmas-themed foods, I thought I would share some of my favorites. Almost all of these are very easy to make, so you still have time to make them for tomorrow!
And this is unrelated to this post, but it’s so much fun that I had to share. I Caught Santa and Capture the Magic let you upload a picture of your living room and put Santa into it delivering gifts, eating cookies, etc! You do have to pay for the pictures, but imagine how excited your kids would be to see Santa in your own home. I’m definitely doing this tonight and sharing it with the kids on Christmas morning!
We’re taking the rest of the day off to spend with our families, but we’ll be back tomorrow with one more post!
. . . . .
Santa Bread – I’m kind of obsessed with this Santa bread. I’m not a baker at all, but I would make an exception for this bread!
Fruit Candy Cane – As easy as it gets to have a little fun with your food!
Santa Strawberries – You can swap the whipped cream face for cream cheese or bananas.
Christmas Tree Vegetable Platter
Christmas Fruit Tree – This tutorial uses a pineapple as the core, but here’s another tutorial that uses a styrofoam base. You could also use vegetables to create this instead.
DIY Ice Cream Snowman – Let your little ones build their own snowman sundae.
Marshmallow Snowmen – You can also do this with donuts, but that’s a lot of sugar for one person.
Rudolph Gingerbread Cookies – There are many holiday cookie recipes out there, but I like that this one is so simple.
Snowman Pancakes – You can also make a simpler version with bacon as the scarf.
Santa Pancakes – I think we’re going to make these for Christmas morning because Olive loves Santa since the one we visited had a pet bunny.
Cookie Cutter Christmas Pancakes – You could even create an entire scenario using cookie cutter pancakes like this!

We live in the “City of Oaks” and Raleigh drops a big acorn on New Years Eve, so I love this idea of making acorns with food items: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/215609900884360987/
