Disclaimer: I was not paid nor asked to do this review for/by Googaro; I’m just a big fan of the product!
A few months ago, I signed up for Googaro, a monthly subscription box for kids. I’ve never been a fan of subscription boxes, honestly – I tried some of the makeup ones but found the products to be too small and not the greatest quality for the money I was spending. However, when I came across a coupon code for Googaro, I figured I’d give it a try, since I’m always curious about what baby products are out there beyond the usual stuff I can find at big box stores. We’ve now received 2 boxes (June and July) and I am in love!
Googaro varies their boxes by age and gender – options go from 0-6 months to 2-3 years – and everything they send is full size, which is not common for boxes like these. I don’t love the gender selection, personally, since I tend to be of the “everything for everyone” mentality, but in the two boxes we’ve received so far, I haven’t noticed anything that wouldn’t work for both genders equally. I signed Baby Carrot up for the 1-2 years girl box, and so far we’ve received:
2) Kiss My Face Sunscreen Lip Balm (a treat for lip balm addict mom, since Baby Carrot is a bit too young for it)
3) Medibuddy First Aid Kit on the Go (went in our car immediately – it’s like they knew I’ve been trying to remember to buy one of these!)
4) Happy Yogis Fruit and Yogurt Drops (1 full size pack – these immediately became Baby Carrot’s favorites and we now buy them for her)
5) Melissa and Doug On the Go Coloring Book (Sea Animals) (Baby Carrot is still in the “mouth everything” stage so for now I’m showing her how fun it is to color and she tries to steal the marker and eat it)
6) Hop on Pop by Dr. Seuss (a great addition to our growing book collection)
7) Dr. Seuss Bowl and Snack Bags
8) Hape Toys Rhythm Set (Baby Carrot snatched these up immediately and now regularly walks through the house making music with these)
9) Box Play Milk Carton Sticker
I haven’t done the math on how much these products all cost, but I absolutely think it’s worth the somewhat pricey $35/month. My subscription ended up being closer to $30 with the coupon code I found that led to me signing up for this, but I absolutely see myself renewing for a full price once our 6 month trial subscription is up. This has been a great way to check out new products, add some very necessary items to our household, and some new sources of fun for Baby Carrot!

This sounds so neat! I would totally sign up if I had a coupon…so if anyone finds one, let me know.

I know you’ve said you’ve gotten 2 boxes so far, right? So was half of this in each of the boxes? I’d like to know how much you get for $35.

@Mrs. Pinata: Yup, these were split about even. Items 1, 3, 4, 6 and 9 were in the first box, and 2,5, 7 (x) and 8 were in the second.

@Mrs. Chocolate: I was wondering the same thing but it looks pretty nifty!
Definitely adding it to my list of suggestions when Christmas comes around for the grandparents and great grandparents. Thanks for pointing it out to us!
