Easter is coming up on April 5th, and if you’re looking to add an Easter Bunny to your child’s Easter basket, we’ve rounded up some of our favorites below!
1) Blabla Pierre Bunny – BlaBla’s 100% cotton dolls made in Peru are modern day classics. They’re available in 3 different sizes and in 3 different styles: Pierre, Fleur, Mirabelle, and Balthazar.
2) Maileg Ballerina Bunnies – Maileg is a popular Danish line of children’s gear, with dolls that focus on bunny and mice. The bunnies come in a variety of styles (ballerina, spring, angel, prince/princess, etc.), 6 different sizes, and clothing options, and have a sweet, timeless quality to them.
3) Lucky Boy Sunday Pale Nulle – Lucky Boy Sunday is a Danish line of luxury children’s goods. Made of 100% alpaca wool, all their designs are manufactured in Bolivia in fair trade cooperatives that provide local women with fair wages. This design is also available in a fancy colorway and little nulle.
4) Hazel Village Fancy Zoe Rabbit – I love the sweet menagerie of stuffed animals from Brooklyn-based Hazel Village. A number of rabbits in different colors and styles are available, you can get them monogrammed, buy the cutest extra clothes, and there are even a couple of kids’ outfits available to match the dolls! One of their dolls is definitely on my wishlist for Olive!
5) Mini Boheme – These individually numbered handmade dolls are created using organic linen, natural plant-based dyes, and eco corn fiber filling. They’re beautiful heirloom quality, but tough to score because they’re made in such limited quantities.
6) Sugar Plum Bunny – This huge 44inch ballerina bunny is currently on sale for half off! Designed exclusively for Land of Nod by Michelle Jewell, you can check out more of her work in her Etsy Shop Finkelsteins.
7) Jellycat Bashful Bunny – Jellycat was founded in 1999 in the UK, and has since become one of the most popular plush toy makers. You can’t go wrong with Jellycat for high quality dolls that are always super soft. This particular bunny comes in beige, cream, gray, pink, brown, blue, mint and more. Jellycat has a ton of other bunny styles as well including this adorable Tutu Lulu Bunny that has an accompanying board book.
8) Mizy Vintage Pinky Easter Bunny – A commenter on my Instagram recommended this bunny and it was so darn adorable I had to add it to this guide! Handcrafted with 100% cotton and tea-dyed muslin, this is about as cute as an Easter bunny can be. Several different bunny styles are available, as well as separate clothing and accessories as well.
9) Bunnies by the Bay Silly Buddy – This floppy bunny made of super soft velour is perfect as baby’s first bunny. Its left hand has velcro where you can attach baby’s pacifier, similar to the Wubbanub (which also has several bunny styles). Available in pink, white and blue.
10) Cloud B Bubbly Bunny – You’re probably familiar with the Cloud B Sleep Sheep that plays 4 different white noise sounds; this is the bunny version!
11) Walnut Animal Society – These stunning, handcrafted, 2 foot tall dolls include a rabbit, fox, cat, racoon, deer and bear. They’re definitely heirloom quality, but the exteriors are very soft and meant to be played with, finished primarily with 100% locally sourced wool. Additional clothing is also available for the best dressed dolls around.
12) Miko Design I Love Paris Rabbit – This adorable rabbit is handmade in the Netherlands. Available in three colors, pink, red, and blue, there are also tons of cute clothing options that you can custom order as well. You can even buy a kit to make your own rabbit!
I’ve met many of the aforementioned designers and really admire their work! So much time goes into handcrafting all the little details, and though I was never a stuffed animal person before, I’ve definitely become one now.
The following dolls include famous rabbits which would make great Easter gifts with an accompanying book!
13) Knufflebunny doll; Knufflebunny books
14) Sofia the First Clover Plush; Sofia the First books (he kind of looks like Thumper!)
15) Pat the Bunny doll; Pat the Bunny book
16) Goodnight Moon doll; Goodnight Moon book
17) Peter Rabbit doll; Peter Rabbit book
18) Hello Kitty Rabbit; My Melody
19) Miffy doll; Miffy books
. . . . .

So cute!! I love bunnies.
Side note: I still can’t believe Disney named a rabbit Clover when they already had a Clover (skunk) in Bambi, where they had a rabbit named Thumper!
(Confusing?) Seeing Clover from Sofia always confuses me!!

@sunny: i know but everything is handmade, hand dyed and with the cost of materials and the hours put into one doll, i can see why it costs so much!
