I gifted bamboo plants to Charlie and Olive’s teachers last year because I loved the sentiment behind the “thanks for helping me grow” tag, as well as giving them something that lasts. Bamboo is seriously hard to kill, even for my black thumb! For Teacher Appreciation day this May 5th, I’ll be giving succulents, another hard to kill plant. I love that you can make this project super simple or flex your DIY muscles if you choose, and you can do it on a budget too.
Possible taglines include:
- Thanks for helping me grow/bloom/blossom
- If teachers were flowers, I’d pick you!
- Teachers plant the seeds of knowledge that grow forever
