We live right by the beach so you can imagine that we spend a lot of time playing in the sand and ocean! We have a huge bag of beach toys that we always take with us because I don’t like the kids to be in the sun the whole day, so it’s nice to have cool sand toys for them to build sand castles in the shade. These toys will take your little one’s beach experience to the next level!

Best-Beach-Toys

1) Quut Ballo Beach Bucket – I think Quut makes some of the coolest and inventive sand toys around. This bucket’s design makes it easier for kids to carry water without spilling it.

2) Quut Triple Beach Toy – This is on my current wish list. It is part shovel, sifter, rake and water funnel. I ship things like this to friends in America who bring it with them when they visit.

3) Quut Alto Beach Toy – This set of 3 buckets are great for building towers and I love that they nest for easy storage. You can never have too many buckets!

4) Melissa and Doug Nesting Pails  – You seriously can never have too many buckets because you need a lot of water to make sand castles. We take our Quut Alto buckets and 4 other buckets every time we do go to the beach. Nesting buckets are the best since they take up less space.

5) Quut Scoppi Beach Toy – This is high on my wishlist because my kids love digging, and this huge shovel takes it to the next level!

6) Kite – So much fun to fly at the beach!

7) Melissa & Doug Sandblox  – I wish these were more sturdily made because the removable plate that pushes the sand out comes off very easily. That said these are a super cool toy that my kids really love. You can make perfect sand rectangles, squares, triangles, and hexagons.

8) Green Toys Sand Playset – We had 2 of these sets for years and they are very high quality.

9) Melissa and Doug Cupcake Set – My kids love making sand cupcakes with this. There is also ice cream and cookie version!

10) Beach Ball

11) Aerobie Frisbee – We have one of these frisbees and they’re the best for kids because they’re lightweight, easy to throw and easy to catch. I think frisbees are best for kids that are a little bit older (6+).

12) sand castle kit – My kids are getting older and their sand castle building skills more sophisticated, so I would love to have something like this to build “professional” looking sand castles. These molds from Hape look pretty cool too and fun for adults!

13) boogie board – I’ve been in the market for a boogie board for Charlie. He loves, loves, loves waves.

14) Hape sand grabber – Another digging toy, this one looks like a lot of fun!

15) sand truck – Charlie used to dig in the sand all the time with his bulldozer rescuebot toy and this multifunction sand truck is sure to be a hit for all kids.

16) jumbo sand rollers – Sand castles and buckets can be a little frustrating for younger kids, so a toy like this is great for even young toddlers.

17) mesh beach bag – This is a must to carry all your beach toys unless you want to constantly clean sand out of your bag.

18) Melissa and Doug sand molds – These are always fun for kids and bonus – they nest!
