If you’ve been thinking about stocking up on any beauty products at Sephora, now (well, this weekend) is definitely the time!

I am most definitely not a product guru and my beauty routine is very minimalist, if occasionally non-existent, these days with 3 tiny kids, but I am excited for this sale to restock some of my favorite products and try some new ones.

The Products That Are For Sure Going In My Cart!

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser (normally $38) – I’ve tried a ton of cleansers at various price points, and I find myself returning to this one time and time again.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo (normally $23) – I have 3 boys under 5, 2 dogs, and long, thick hair, and work full time. Dry shampoo is basically my best friend. This is my favorite brand.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion (normally $22) – I tried this one, liked it, and don’t see any reason to branch out!

2233964

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer (normally $36) – To be honest, I have no idea if I use this product correctly (since I only occasionally wear foundation), but I adore how smooth my face feels when I do use it and it’s one of the only products I consistently use up each time I buy it, so back into the shopping cart it goes!

Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment (normally $26) – I love this chapstick and am planning to throw out all my random, half used (and less effective) ones and replace them with these instead.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer (normally $45) – I have tried a handful of BB, CC, and other creams over the past few years, and I always come back to this old standby. This is also one of the very few products I always use up!

NARS Orgasm Blush (normally $30) – Again, I’ve tried a handful of blushes over the past few years and haven’t found one I like as much as this cult favorite.

0607845094722

NARS Audacious Lipstick Rita (normally $34) – I have been intrigued lately by the idea of wearing red lipstick as a simple way to look sophisticated and put together without spending hours (or even minute) doing your makeup.

Urban Decay Naked Palette (normally $54) My Naked palette is well-used but also pretty old, so I am taking advantage of the Sephora sale to get rid of “expired” makeup and replace it with new options. Choosing which Naked palette to try this time feels a little like answering the question, “which of your children is your favorite???” (depends on the day, depends on the day).

Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream with Super 7 Complex (normally $45) – I love Fresh products and have been meaning to try this face cream.

The Products I’m Thinking About Trying:

Jo Malone Scent (normally $135ish for full size)- I am fairly sensitive to smells, so I don’t always wear perfume. I’ve been intrigued by the Jo Malone scents however, and they’re now available at Sephora and included in the sale! I am thinking about trying Mimosa & Cardamom but would love your recommendations.

Clarisonic Mia 2 Skin Cleansing System (normally $169)  – I have a really old Clarisonic that I haven’t really taken good care of, but I’m thinking of starting fresh and trying again. My skin is thankfully pretty low maintenance even after having 3 babies in 5 years, but I think it could use a consistent (but low maintenance) boost.

dyson

Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer (normally $399) – Ok I’m probably not going to spend almost $400 on a hair dryer, but if I was (and honestly if you knew how long it takes to dry my thick hair, you may not think it was a ridiculous idea) I would definitely take advantage of the Sephora sale to pick up this bestseller. And I have heard so many good things about this investment product that I am actually a little tempted to buy it.

babyfacial-02_01_17_1024x1024

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial (normally $80) – I hear wonderful things about the Drunk Elephant products, but to be perfectly honest I find the whole, complicated world of skincare to be very overwhelming (decision fatigue is a very real thing when you’re a mom wearing many hats)! That said, I thought this best seller may be a good way to try out this popular brand.

GLOW_RECIPE_WATERMELON_GLOW_SLEEPING_MASK_GG_1024x1024

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask (normally $45) – Similarly, I thought this uber popular mask may be a good way to dip my pores into some fun skincare products. It also used to have a 8,000 person waiting list, so that’s always a good sign :).

Are you planning on buying anything at this weekend’s Sephora sale? Would you ever spend $400 on a hair dryer? Inquiring minds (or at least one mind) want to know.

I’d also love your recommendations for tried and true and (relatively) low maintenance beauty products. Bonus points if you can explain to me how to navigate the complicated world of skincare and makeup without succumbing to decision fatigue!

P.S. It may not last through the weekend, but right now you can also get 2.5% cash back on all your Sephora purchases through Ebates (plus you earn $10 automatically just by signing up using our link)!
